Los Angeles interior designer Joe Nye has established himself as one of the
leading names in Southern California’s design world, where he is known for 
his
crisp, clean approach to traditional or contemporary design and his unexpected and fresh use of colors.
He pulls a lot of inspiration from such refinded elements as 18th and 19th century European antiques and blends them with modern elements for a unqiue approach.
House Beautiful magazine has designated Nye as one of the country’s 100 Best Decorators every year since 2003. In November, 2006, he participated in his fourth House Beautiful Celebrity Showhouse, in Miami Beach. His own Pasadena residence graced the magazine’s cover in October 2001.
Nye’s work has appeared in House Beautiful, Elle Décor, the
New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, among many other shelter magazines.
